Potato Flakes

Potato flakes are dehydrated potato products and are used more and more in many food products such as potato-based processed snacks, potato products and bakery. These are made from real potatoes which have been cooked, mashed and then dehydrated. These make a quick and easy mashed potato where water or milk just needs to be added. This is perfect for a side dish or as a snack. Potato flakes also make a good base for soups or as a thickener in sauces and gravies. In terms of nutrition, potato flakes contain good levels of dietary fibre.
