Made from mature French prunes, Ashlock whole prunes are pitted, plump and ready to use. They have a sweet, slightly tart flavour with a soft, moist texture. A good choice for snacking, baking and as an ingredient in stew, fruit compote and stuffing. Citrus zest adds balance to the sweet flavour of prunes in cooking applications.
